College Admissions HELP

So, it’s that stressful time of year. I really need to have a perspective of my chances of getting into a college.

Location: Orange County

GPA (10-11th): 3.25
SAT: 1220 Math: 610 Reading and Writing: 610
Taken 8 APs courses

EI: 3820
I’m still hearing from Cal Poly Pomona, CSULA, CSUN, CSUF, and UCI.

Major: Undeclared
CPP - alternative program in Hospitality Management
CSUN - Civil Engineering (they didn’t have an undeclared major when I applied)

Do you think I’ll get into any of these schools with my current stats?

I’m getting pessimistic. :frowning:

Is CSUF your local Cal state?

It is indeed that time of year, when CC fills up with posts by students waiting anxiously for results! Although I am intrigued by the idea of applying to both hospitality and engineering, the fact is that all you can do now is wait, and nothing anybody says here will actually help. Go find something constructive to distract yourself with, and come on back & let us know how it works out. Good luck

I agree with @collegemom3717 that as long as you have researched the schools thoroughly before applying, you should know where you stand at this point.

My opinion based on your stats:
CSULA: Likely
CSUF: Likely if local
CPP: Possible/leaning on likely
CSUN: 50/50
UCI: Not likely

UPDATE: I just received my acceptance to CSUF! I hope I get into CPP because of it one of my dream schools :o

UPDATE: I GOT INTO CSUN!

UPDATE: Admitted to CSULA!

UPDATE: I was rejected from Cal Poly Pomona and UCI. oh wells, I’m planning to commit to CSUF :))

Congratulations and CSUF is a great option. Best of luck.
