You seem to have a really competitive profile! The thing you’re not telling is your AP scores. If you’re applying for med programs I assume you want to be premed? In that case it’s important you have 5’s in science and math, especially biology. Also, 3.9/4.0 uw GPA makes me think you got 1 or 2 B’s. Were those in classes like AP biology, or like AP spanish? B in AP biology would be bad if you want to go into premed, but B in a language class isn’t so bad.

Right now, you want to focus on getting straight A’s for the rest of your classes, so that your UW GPA gets as close to 4.0 as possible. If you’re doing premed, you’ll want 800/800 on the SAT II Biology Molecular test. Premed admissions are incredibly number based, so test scores and GPA are very important. I don’t know very much about the ACT, but if 34 is equivalent to ~2300 on the SAT, you should be good for that.

You also might want to think about what to write essays on, like how you can express you interest and passion in the subjects you are planning to major in. Each essay prompt may be different, but it is imperative that you get across your PASSION for the subject, above all. Maybe brainstorm how you can write about your passion while writing about an anecdote of your life, in terms of a historical figure, or tying it in to any other common essay prompt.

So, straight A’s, 800 on biology SAT II and 5 on AP biology, start thinking about putting passion into your essays.

my Bs were in two math classes. but my ap test for it should make up, cuz im geting consistent 4s and 5s on practice tests. also i havent taken ap bio yet, there was no room so i hafta take it senior year. my ap tests so far have been 5 ap chem and 4 ap world. this year they should all be 5’s and 4’s hopefully.
