Apply to test optional-schools.

What country are you originally from? If English was not your first language, I believe you are expected to take the TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) exam to demonstrate your proficiency in English to schools that you are applying to.

Not too well versed on the procedure for an applicant in your position; hopefully someone else can chime in.

im form israel…and all the stuff so comfusing here!!!
i just need some help…in explaining the proccedur of applying

[Apply to College - Expert Advice & Tools](<a href=“College Board - SAT, AP, College Search and Admission Tools”>Applying to College – BigFuture | College Board)

The CollegeBoard is your friend. Check out their calendar for the list of things to do, post on CC if you run into any problems. Your lowest score is in the writing section, which is good because that’s the easiest section to improve, by learning some simple grammar rules. As someone who has only been in an English speaking country for a year, you’ll most likely need to take the TOEFL, as required by many colleges.

Are you an international student on Visa, or a U.S. citizen or permanent resident? That will impact how and whether you can file for financial aid, and your options of paying for college. Even though you may not be considered an ESL student, have you considered talking to the ESL teacher at your high school to get some tips and advice? Schedule an appointment with your guidance counselor when school starts, prepare a list of questions beforehand to ask the person (which tests to take, financial aid, a list of colleges you’re applying to, etc). Ask around if you have questions.

It’s hard to list everything about the whole admission process, so how about you summarize first what you’ve done already? What have you done so far in terms of testing? Have you already had some colleges in mind, and how much is your family willing to pay for college?
