Okay I need your advice. I have to submit my college apps real soon and it will cost me $350. So I have 1 options…

I can ask my priest (I’m Catholic). He is very generous, and I’ve known him my whole life so he would probably give me some money. I would tell him I’d pay him back as soon as I got the money.

Should I do it? I’m so nervous, I hate asking people for money :(

How much do you have right now?

And you can usually apply for a Fee Waiver as part of a low-income family, but you typically need your Guidance Counselor to sign off on that, so it might be a little bit late. Some colleges also waive the fees for online applications, but you'd need to check individually for the colleges you're applying to.

If it does come down to you asking your priest, I would rather do that than not send in an application, but make arrangements for paying it off the same time you ask him.

I'd try a few family members first, too.
