College app list opinions

So I want to know if my list is safe/reasonable.

Brief Stats: 35 ACT 4+ GPA all advanced classes. Volunteered every week at hospital near HS. Founder of one club, pres of one club, officer of two more, member of two more. Spent last seven summers at an advanced DNA science and genetics camp. Track and field for four year with a number of awards.

List: Stanford
Harvard
University of Pennsylvania
University of Chicago
Dartmouth
Northwestern
Georgetown
Norte Dame
University of Michigan (safety)
Wake Forest (safety)
NYU (safety)

I know a lot of people might be thinking something along the lines of “why apply to so many selective places, pick one you like.” I like all of them best to worst in the order listed, and it’s possible I could get rejected at somewhere like Dartmouth and accepted at Northwestern (almost identical acceptance rates). I’m fine with all my safeties and I’m from NY so NYU is probably a guarantee for me. Any suggestions, opinions, or advice is appreciated. Thanks!

Have you run the NPC’s to see if you can afford them? Have you discussed with your parents how much they are willing to pay?

tuition isn’t a really an important factor to my parents

Even with good stats no one can really call UMich a safety if they’re OOS. As long as you understand that there is a chance you get rejected from all the ivies + UChicago and Stanford this looks like a decent college list provided that you would be happy to attend the TWO safety schools you listed. Some of these schools are so different though I don’t see a common link other than the fact that they’re all prestigious. Think more about fit and less about prestige.

Wake Forest is not a safety either IMO. I can’t speak to NYU. I think you need a few true safeties.
