Background:
Recently I did not do so well on my Mathematics SAT II. I was wondering if I should retake it. I really do not want to as I got a 100 on the NYS regents but did poorly on this portion.

Questions:
1. If I do not retake it, when I apply to colleges do they see this score? I plan on taking more SAT II tests to fill my SAT II requirement so will they ever see this score if I choose not to send it?

Is it possible to make multiple collegeboard accounts? Say I can just make a new account and start over, this is the only SAT II I have ever took and I have not taken the SAT yet, can I just make a new account with the same information (Name, DOB, etc.)

What is the point of taking the PSAT in 10th grade? Do colleges see your score? Does anyone see your score except for you? I know it is important in 11th grade but what about 10th?

Do colleges care what SAT II you take? Should your SAT II's be related to an intended major?

The PSAT in 10th grade holds no significance - it’s only for personal use so you can see how you would do on the real PSAT/SAT. Colleges will never see your PSAT. The only time you will need to report your PSAT would maybe be if you are applying for certain summar programs.

Somewhat - it depends on the college. Some colleges have specific requirements, for example - most top tech schools require one math and one science. As for the major - it’s nice to show interest and dedication to your major, but colleges know that students may not always have the same interests in HS as they do in college as evidenced by the fact that in many schools, over half the students end up switching majors. So it’s not a huge deal.

Some colleges (a few of the top notch ones usually) want to see all scores, but there are plenty that let you use score choice, meaning you send the ones you want

No, College Board already has your address, phone number, etc – basically ways to find out that it’s you again

Another reason to take the PSAT in 10th grade is for practice for the PSAT in 11th grade, which could qualify you for scholarships (if you do well enough)

The only one that might be specifically required is Math 2, for engineering programs and tech schools
