College Board Online Course for the SAT - is it any good?

Hello! I’m going to be taking the SAT soon and I need all the forms of preparation I can get. I saw the college board online course and thought about purchasing it; however, my recent experiences with rip off courses stopped me from doing so.
And so I come to ask you - do any of you whether this is good or not? I don’t want to waste 70$ !

The online course has several official tests. They are among the best materials for practicing. Its probably only worthwhile if you’ve already gone through all the tests in the Blue Book.

Anything that the College Board makes is good. It’s like asking whether Coca-Cola or Pepsi is any good. It’s like asking whether a shirt made by Versace is any good. It doesn’t matter whether it really looks good or not. Just the fact that it’s made by Versace makes it good in and of itself. The College Board could release all the unreleased exams it secretly stores and hides its in vaults and make a book that costs only $3 and probably make over $3 million in a month and put both Barron’s and the Princeton Review out of business. It’s a brand name that everyone trusts, so it doesn’t really matter whether it’s good or not. It just is good!

In my opinion, it’s well worth the $70 if you follow through.

Take the practice tests. But that’s only the start.

After you take the tests, go back and look at your errors. Where were your mistakes? What sort of questions seem to consistently trip you up? Which questions are you consistently leaving blank? Where are you losing points?

Once you’ve answered those questions, you can go back and figure out what to do about it. If you’re losing points on the proportion problems, for example, you have two options: learn to do proportions or start omitting them. But simply knowing which topics are costing you points is a huge advantage: it will warn you to stop and approach those problems with caution, whether or not you decide to answer them.

If you’re willing to put in the time and energy to use the materials well, then $70 is a bargain.
