<p>I know this is probably somewhere on this site, but I couldn't seem to find it... </p>

<p>What do the markings mean next to the links for the different college boards?
When you look at the alphabetic list of colleges, some have yellow dots, some have gray, and some have arrows. </p>

<p>What do these mean?</p>

<p>Yellow dots mean there is a new posting in that board. A grey dot means no recent activity. An arrow means that that particular board is found under a different heading (for example, Amherst is found under the Top Liberal Arts Colleges heading).</p>
