<p>there’s a chance forum to help you with this. you will need to provide them with more information so they can narrow it down. otherwise it just looks like you’re bragging because the only answer to your question that is accurate is just about every college. tell them your intended major, your state, your interests in regions of the country, large or small, state or private, etc. Tell them what YOU are looking for since most schools will be looking for you. When you have a proto-list, run the net price calculators for each school and see which ones your family can afford. Then go to the Financial Aid forum and educate yourself about grant and merit packages. Find the school that’s best for YOU rather than the school everyone else thinks is most prestigious. </p>
<p>Thank you very much. I’m new to this forum and am the first in my family to have the chance to go to college. I’m not bragging about my grade. the HS I go to is very competitive. I’m not even top 3% of my class.</p>
<p>well, you should be crowing about your stats. they’re excellent! In fact, perhaps since you don’t have any schools to choose from, I was too abrupt and your question does belongs here.</p>
<p>But you’re going to have to answer some of these questions I’ve asked and some more before we can help. You can start doing that now. And soon you should be a good college selection book like the Fiske or the Princeton. People here seem to prefer the Fiske, but I didn’t use either of them. So, who are you and what do you want in a college. Some people will focus on getting into the most prestigious college possible. I will focus on finding out what you want in a school and try to point you toward schools that might best fit you. So tell us about yourself, your likes and dislikes, what you want and don’t want in a school, etc. More is better.</p>
