Hello all.

I'm an international student living in Malaysia (South East Asia) so I'm used to the summer-all-round type of season. Unfortunately I will not have the opportunity to visit any of the campuses before I start. I have about a week to decide which college I want to go to and for someone who knows nearly nothing about the States this is very difficult indeed.

I intend to major in Psychology, although that might change. I would consider myself quite liberal and open-minded. I'm looking forward to meeting a diverse population of students and I wouldn't mind going to a large university. However, the two most important things to me are future opportunities and educational standards.

I have been accepted into the following colleges and am currently debating between the four:
UC - Berkeley and Los Angeles
University of Virginia
University Southern California
Carnegie Mellon

Is anyone willing to give some good insight as the the uni's above? Any word of advice would be much appreciated.
