Niquii, I had an email from her before I woke up. She told me she didn’t have Facebook. It’s just funny. We were both panicking over getting someone who was going to be a problem. I’m atheist and politically charged, she’s a lesbian feminist, organic-loving type. We’ll have a few debates but we should get along great. We’ve already settled things like me bringing the tv and microwave and her bringing the fridge and she decorates the room with whatever she likes and I’ll arrange it. It seems like we’ll be able to work both with and around each other. I say the Honors staff did well with their arrangements.

I am going to GEORGETOWN!!!

@Serenity Wow, I’m glad you guys are going to get along. It honestly sounds like a good match. I’m not sure if my roommate and I will get along like that…but we’re both in engineering (well…everyone on the floor is) so that’s one thing in common. I’ve talked to the girl that I’m living next to and sh and I get along great.

Mint. Why are you moving farther away from me?

We’re both going for education and we’re both majoring in the other’s worst subject. She’s English, I’m math. It’ll work.

Plus, I’m so glad she’s decorating and I’m also incredibly glad she agreed to my room arrangement. Thankfully, she’s lofting her bed which gives us even more room than my original floor plan had. (I’d kinda been trying to maximize open space with my floor plan.) So, I’m happy, she’s happy, and it looks like the only obstacle from now on will be parents.

Speaking of roommates, it seems that I am rooming with a Kenyan guy that seems to be part of a missionary group that frequently goes to east African nations. And one of my suite-mates was the salutatorian of his high school, while the other one graduated from a prestigious STEM school where the average SAT is in the 2000s… Seems like I’ll feel pretty normal there. #top30schoollife #humblebrag #hashtagsoncc

Oh wow, I’m outta the loop. I remember reading some of the old thread a year ago, but took a break from CC for awhile (well, it kind of just happened, though I’ve never consistently posted).

Anyways, to touch on the last two pages :

Business is awesome since every company has a business side and I have a ton of freedom with that, plus there’s the occasional free sports tickets : P. It’s interesting to me and it will be able to provide for a wife and kids someday : ). Specifically, I’ll probably
go the CPA route.

As to roommates, my grandparents opened up their house, so I’ll have my own room and house when they go places. Normally I only see them twice a year (they’re a six hour drive away), so that’s great too. Plus they’re great cooks.

I still don’t know about the spring. On-campus housing is estimated at 16k, while off campus is half that. Kind of hard to choose debt over a few minutes of travel time.

I already knew my roommate in advanced through Facebook. He seem a chill guy. Nearly same major and all. I expect us to get alone great.

Transfer?

That could not have been an apter autocorrect.

Mint OMG! Hayyyyyyyyyy

You acted like a fangirl at a 1D concert…

I finally have everything I want for my schedule for the fall planned out so it fits nicely. Just gotta hope the classes don’t fill up by my orientation. I know one class is gonna fill and I’ll be screwed and will have to re-do the whole thing.

We have to talk, mate.

Well, I am pretty damn close to being the 1D of CC. ;)

size=1[/size]

And Yankees back!

Oh my. I’m obsessive about money and dorm shopping is terrible. I’m so ****ing glad I don’t have to buy a fridge. I can’t stand spending that much money.

:)

Congrats on Georgetown buddy.

I bought a frig for 200

I’ve watched Pitch Perfect like four times this week.

“I’ve watched Pitch Perfect like four times this week.”

-_-’

I’ve watched Memento, Thank You for Smoking, World War Z and Django Unchained this past week. All of them were pretty good to great movies!

Needless to say (and to make this near on topic, as CSIHSIS was), I’m ready to slay zombies with six-shooters after making a clever argument for their switching eating habits and forgetting everyone’s names.

By the way, CE and Kyp, how is HSL since our departure?

Somewhat dull.
