College Class of 2017

Nope, not when they said it to me.

One parent read that I said I was 18 and basically said, “Stop right there buoy don’t know what you’re talking about.”

I can count on my hand the people who always have something to say against my posts. I can guarantee they’ll post with the next half hour.

@stressed: They don’t need perspective, though. If your argument makes sense, then it does so regardless of the arguers age/race/personality/whatever. The only reason anyone would ever have to know anything about the other person is to make ad hominem attacks.

Not to mention their posts are ridiculously long.

Just a random question: Who has or is planning to get a credit card? If not, why?

I got one on my 18th birthday.

I have a credit card and two debit cards.

It’s nice not having to constantly check if you have money on you.

I have my debit card. I was just wondering who was getting a credit card. Because my brother learned the hard way at 24 that it’s hard to establish a line of credit.

*Never mind.

I don’t think I’m getting one my first year.

I have a debit card and will be getting another for my financial aid bank account.

Yea, I think my college ID doubles as its own debit card, which I assume is either linked to whatever that account is or the student run credit union.

Mine does as well, but I’m not going to bank with them.

My bank has better benefits. It’s easier when everything is tied together.

Yall need to come back to HSL :(

Hmm…

Hmm…

right now we have two problems

 1. we need to liven up this ghost town of a CL. I suggest posting some semi-random threads to get things going.
 2. HSL is stagnant without us. sooo… you HSers are going to have to work that out yourselves :D

I’m getting a credit card to use for like the needed like transportation (not spring break Lol).

Remember that all thread here must be college related.(you can talk about love and sex in college). No random race to over 9000 or rate my chances (for hiring )…actually that might work Lol.

As college students we are no longer part of the high school community. We will offer our aid and thought for some students and will post in there time to time but you’re on your own. Also you have to remember more people are on during the school year. So expect a lot of slow days on hsl

well, we’re going to have to change that. :D

Lol I thought you weren’t a rule breaker. Tsk tsk

I can twist anything to be related to anything. It’s a skill we perfected at Governor’s school.

Pfft…watch out. We have a bad ass over here…

Serenity…in order to perfect a skill…you must learn it. Preferably at a magnet school.

You can turn a race to 9001 thread into something college related? Ok.
