<p>I’m for some reason reading through last year’s student handbook…</p>
<p>Is it just me or is summer going by WAY to slowly this year.</p>
<p>^Go on vacation. It’ll take your mind off of the number of days left till college.</p>
<p>Orientation is in 2 weeks. Since I was never fond of my own class of 2013 / built any strong connections with them, even though I still want to (1 pro is no huge break up when everyone goes away to their schools), now is the time to start. And be it, I’m doing this at a commuter school.
–It’s so interesting to plan College out and be prepared much more than I was for High School, to make the most out of 4 years is a challenge and I’ve already started by making older friends… But I wonder what the C/O 2017 is going to turn out like–and I’m going to see just that on the day of orientation… Excited.</p>
<p>I had to buy my textbooks…It went up $150 from me waiting two weeks because all the really cheap ones were gone off Amazon…This is the last time I listen when my mom tells me to wait…</p>
<p>I don’t even know what book I need for my classes…</p>
<p>Hopefully, I’ll be able to resell all my books on Amazon…Or just sell them all to another student…</p>
<p>I’m so paranoid about being overwhelmed for classes next year that I’m looking over some Calc and Chem stuff.
God help me.</p>
<p>You should relax. Freshman college isn’t just about making good grade. it’s also about meeting new people, trying new things, and finding yourself. You could study now but it will only help you a little. The real test of college is IMO time management. You must effectively choose what time to study (I don’t recommend studying straight for 2 hours. Maybe go eat pizza for 30 minutes or play game and get back to studying or writing a paper.) But Yea you should study now if you want but you should focus on other things like staying heathly, researching… anything, build up your vocabulary, etc.</p>
