College Collections - LACS with Forward Thinking Business Programs and other College Collections

@uncommonapps has been creating some great College Collections for us, including LACs with Forward Thinking Business Programs and Engineering Partnerships, plus this fun one about Colleges That Produce the Most Olympians.

Any one in the CC Community can curate their own college collection, which is a list of schools that share some commonality - like:

  • Best Schools for X
  • Schools to Visit if You’re Looking at X
  • Schools to Apply to If you Like X
  • Notes on your own college list, which schools are moving or up down, and why

Just follow the steps here. If you make a list you’re excited about, feel free to create a thread to share with the community, get other recommendations, or start a conversation. Just be sure to click the button to make it public.

Talk about timing–I was just researching this issue.

I am researching a similar topic for students who prefer a base of knowledge in business without heavy math requirements.

Coincidentally, the President of Rollins College is an alumus of the above referenced school (St. Lawrence University).

I also look at the College of Charleston & Flagler College in Florida for less intense students who want a background in business while enjoying the social aspects of their college experience.

P.S. I also use these schools for non-intense, but bright students, who want to enjoy both the social & academic aspects of school while also enjoying merit scholarships.

Colorado College has recently created a new BESoc major that looks really interesting:
