Should I chose a Windows or PC for college (I'm a senior -> freshman year of college) provided I want to do investment banking?

lol. 10 char.

Tough choice. The two have their differences…

Given your post, don’t do investment banking

Basically, what I’ve heard from info sessions (no direct work experience) is that excel and powerpoint are used a lot, but obviously they don’t hire people based on their experience with those programs. They hire people from a wide variety of majors and new interns/employees aren’t expected to have financial expertise. Of course if you mean IT at an Investment Bank, than you’ll probably want to get experience with Windows and Linux since I bet they use both.

Nonetheless, you’ll want to keep a high GPA so think about what computer will be best for your major. For CS I would recommend using multiple operating systems. A lot of CS people like Linux because it hides less of its internal workings from the user.

If your major isn’t CS it probably doesn’t matter.

Why shouldn’t he?

^ I’m sure OP just made a typo, but if someone asked that in real life then that would just mean they’re dumb. And dumb people don’t do IB.
