I laughed heartily. Quite an accurate depiction of us I must say. The last one was just racist and ignorant however.

Mm, yup, sums it up.

The third one is hilarious. You mean you haven't seen the way people here viciously attack affirmative action?

Hahahahahaha, hilarious!! So true!!! Especially the third one..

-- Why are you people agreeing with it, when it's mocking YOU guys? And no it doesn't affect me cuz my stats sucks. --

Yeah because you only have a 4.43 GPA WEIGHTED OMG SO BAD
AND A 2100 SAT OMG THATS TERRIBLE YOU'LL NEVER GET INTO COLLEGE OR HAVE A LIFE GO KILL YOURSELF.

HAHAHAHHAAH. Those were beyond hilarious. :)

Would you prefer they cry tears of despair because they're being e-mocked?

it's right on the money

after all...all i do see is stuff like "i got a 2310 on my SAT and i'm really disappointed"

LOLOLOLOL wow.

Ahaha, and what's really funny is that all of those posts were most likely made by people who WANTED to come on CC and talk about THEIR grades but got shot down because they're not "smart enough! wahh" :] lol.

What's exceptionally sad is that the definition on Urbandictionary is absolutely correct.

Having a 2000+ SAT score and a 3.8 is not "average".

Average is more like a 1500/2400 and a 2.8 or 3.0. The chance threads here are sickening.

But I mean, no one wants to be average. The average American barely makes more than $22000 a year. I'd like a little more...

The chance threads here are idiotic, mostly because with the records most people here have, any college would be lucky to have them, but also because no one knows. My sister had a way lower class rank than her friend who was a salutatorian, but now she goes to Northwestern and he goes to Case Western. No one knows what's going to happen. People really need to stop being so insecure and start being proud of their accomplishments.

wow. i think they were pretty offensive, but nonetheless true.

Just because the average person is a complete moron, that doesn't mean we would want to be AVERAGE. eEEeeeh.

truth hurts.

"Just because the average person is a complete moron"

I'll just have to hope you are using your own definition of "average" and "moron".

[Moron (psychology - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moron_(psychology))

Everything here is entirely subjective, of course, but the average student is too worried about passing regular math class and going to parties as opposed to dreaming of studying Chem at MIT or graduating from Harvard Law School.

I'm not saying there is anything wrong with wanting to be better than average; I'm just suggesting that when topics called "Chance a below average applicant" appear and the SAT scores are 2000+, the OP of said topic is ignorant or conceited. Of course, this too is subjective.

Lol, didn't read your article, but took AP psych and I know exactly what moron means.

Okay, saying that average scores are like.. acceptable.. or whatever is RIDICULOUS. That's like saying that the AVERAGE weight of an American is healthy. Srsly?!?!
