College Courses during High School

I'm an incoming fall 2007 freshman at NC State, biochemistry/pre-med major. During high school, I took college courses at NCSU instead of AP courses, because alot of med schools don't accept AP credit and AP credit doesn't count toward my college GPA. I took Chemistry 101(A+)/102(A+) and Chemistry 201/202 (A+), which means I finished my year of inorganic chemistry. I also took Intro to Psych 200, and am planning on taking a chemistry lab elective (quantitative analysis) during the summer. So I'll be starting with Organic chem my freshmen year. By doing this, my overall college schedule won't be as busy/hard as others. Would this hurt my chances, because they might see that I did well in alot of classes because I only have 13-15 credits per semester.

Thank You.

Can you just take extra classes to bring your courseload up to normal? Or graduate a year early and spend that year doing research?

I'm kind of reluctant on taking extra classes that will be outside of my major, it'll cost $$ and stuff idk. I was thinking on graduating early, but I still don't know yet, I have to see if its hard to get into researching and stuff.

They charge you per class?!

Yes, depending on the class, one class can cost from $500 to $700. Lab classes are $200 to $300.

BDM a lot of places charge per course hour.
