<p>Because of my past lack of responsibilty and awareness of consequences, I'm in a deep hole right now . Last year, I attended my first quarter of college, partied up and saw my grades dip from almost straight A's by midterm to a D average . Near finals, I was walking drunk one night and was hit by a taxi . After dealing with finals and medical issues, I decided I wasnt ready to go back, needed to build a sense of responsibilty, and given that time, I would readily try again with college excellence in mind . however, i falied to remind my mother to make sure that Parent PLUS loan in and now i have this $12,000 debt in the way of me attending college . Can I apply for a bank loan to cover this delinquency debt ? Letting my mother is almost nearly suicide and if you knew my mother, you'd know I wasn't exaggerating . So I'm asking people on this website what the best way to handle this would be . Also, what the second, third, and fourth ways of handling this would be . I need to get back on this college path & quickly, but I have no money or the appropriate type of family to help me out on this one . Please help !</p>
