hello everyone! I'm entering my senior year of high school which means I really have to be thinking about college and such... AH
so, I know I want to major in sport management (that there limits where I can go but that's what I want to major in!) I have 4 schools in mind... all in which I have to get my reading SAT score up a tad bit (but that's a whole other story)
as of now I'm looking into:

xavier university (Cincinnati, OH)
university of Louisville
Ithaca college
university of Massachusetts

can u let me know your opinions on each school and maybe some info on the sport management program?! thanks so much!

umass is the so-called best program but it may not be the best for you. you might feel lost in a program that accepts over 100 students a year. it is also really competitive even though it is at umass so you may wanna improve your test scores. ithaca is smaller but still great. the only downside is the location. both schools may have great internship opportunities but they arent near cities. ithaca is a great school too. i dont know alot about the other two, but they arent as reputable as ithaca and umass. i personal dont like umass but i love ithaca. yet ithaca is a little far (i live in CT and its a five hour drive).

i hope i helped. feel free to ask me any other questions.

I'm not the OP, but what's the problem with Ithaca's location? Is it just far? Just curious since it is a school I'm thinking about visiting..

its a beautiful campus and all, but its not near a major city. this means internships will probably be during the summer. definitely visit. i loved it when i visited. just remeber that wherever you go, youll be there for four years.

UMass has a GREAT sports management program, one of the best in the country. I would highly recommend it. Lots of alumni which helps in gaining employment.
