Hi! I am a high school senior who has just applyed to UChicago. I am a little preocupied because i am a first generation student and my entire family was new to the whole college application process. I moved to the US only 3 years ago and i have pretty good stats to get into the school. However, the reason why i am worried is because as i was recently reviewing my application. I noticed that although i was not lying, my application doesnt look consistant. I was selected art club president and soccer capain as a sophomore but i was gonna actually be president as a junior. but i left the school so i was never in the position. i put in my application that was in fact president and captain as a sophomore. I dont want them to think that i am lying because it is true. My school was not very supportive of the soccer team for girls and the senior captain was about to graduate, and i was the best in the team. the arts club was not very funded either and i brought it up to the light. My mistake was that i did not established that in my application. i am affraid they’ll think i lied just to get into college.
