If I wrote a college essay about my questions and doubts about God to BC would that hurt my chances?

I would be surprised if a well-written, thoughtful essay with that theme would hurt your chances. My strong sense is that BC as an institution does not suppress theological exploration/analysis/critical thinking, but instead encourages it. Far more important, though, would be how you expressed your doubts: what sources and experiences inform your questions? Do you come across as dismissive of religion or simply engaged in an assessment of a crucial issue for many people? What role do you see BC playing in answering your questions?

Thank you, I can see now I must get to work on my essay, thanks again
