<p>I'm not religious, but I bring that aspect of me up as a form of juxtaposition for my most content place in my Common App essay. How religious is Boston College, and how would that affect my chances of acceptance? It's the only religious school I'm applying to.</p>
<p>I don’t think it would really hurt you, but I don’t think it’s necessary to include that you’re “not a religious person.” The part about the worship room is more important. The first part almost seems like you’re including a disclaimer.</p>

<p>Boston College just visited my high school and the representative said BC was as religious as you want it to be. Nothing religious is required, however, it can be a major part if you want it to be. Good luck.</p>
