<p>hey are there any websites that have just tons of examples and student submitted college essays? I realize that googling "college essays" bring some but almost all those go to those stupid college counseling, essay editing websites that want your money before you can even read something. so, are there any college essay websites that aren't nagging for your credit card number?!? lol</p>
<p>I like these essays on Connecticut College's admissions page. They give examples of some good admissions essays from their students. My favorite is the one by Rebecca Frele.</p>

<p>There's a book that has examples of essays written by an ex-Brown adcom. I believe it was entitled "On Writing the College Essay." I'm not fairly certain, but you can search for it. It's pretty short (so you can go to the bookstore and skim through it there without buying it, haha).</p>
<p>The College Board website has some examples and pointers. Nothing earth-shattering.</p>
