Florida Gators!

USC Trojans!

The Trojans have NO shot to win the national championship while starting a true freshman at QB, losing their #2 WR, and losing both coordinators. Sorry to bash your wishful thinking akalboy, but the defending champion Gators are returning their top 22 defensive players, along with perhaps the greatest college football player ever in Tim Tebow, and much of the offense. The void left by Percy Harvin can easily be filled by track/football stars Jeff Demps, Chris Rainey, or another of a list of pure athletes on Florida’s roster. There ain’t no stoppin’ 'em.

Still USC has a great shot at making it to the title game and having that USC vs. Florida game we’ve wanted for the past 3 years.

True we have a true freshman QB, but he has probably the best O-line in the country and a all-america caliber WR Damian Williams, plus a very experienced running game to lean back on.

And the defense: probably the best pass defense in the country w/ veterans Taylor Mays and Josh Pinkard. Yes they lost a lot of NFL players, but the 2nd team defense played in every game except the loss last year and in many cases played essentially the 2nd half.

Losing the defensive coordinator isn’t that big a deal either. It’s 100% Pete Carroll’s defense. We’ll see how the new offensive coordinator and QB coaches work out.

boise st beats pac 10 champion oregon, byu beats big 12 champ oklahoma

byu over boise st in the national championship

^ wt.f…

UNC is going to win the ACC Coastal…

Ah, fall. The time when we can’t help but start bashing each other’s conferences and tooting our own horns. In that spirit, Stanford and Wisconsin will play in the Rose Bowl, and the SEC sucks. ;)

Seriously, though, U$C will have to win in the Horseshoe (always difficult) and in the state of Oregon (they haven’t since 2005) to have much of a shot at the title game. Losing one of those games might leave them in the running, but they would probably need some combination of the Pac-10 getting a bit more respect than usual and/or other teams choking to make it.

Go Temple!!!

UT Austin.

The best teams wear gold and blue

Kent State?

^haha, that’s good. Even though I would like to say OSU, my pick is Florida.

Army-Navy in the National Championship game ;)

Army is like one of the 5 worst teams in the nation.

Seriously speaking…I think USC was the best team the last 2 years. We kept losing the dumb ass game and then going to a bowl…where we killed the hyped up Illinois and murdered Penn State. Both of the years we could have had classic games with Florida in my opinion…We’ll see what happens this year.

You should be, since you cheat more than any program in college sports…

Florida really has to go undefeated to guarantee a title slot, though, the schedule has too much potential to collapse out under them.

Florida has to hope that LSU (7-5 last year), Georgia (tough schedule), and Florida State (ridiculously fickle conference) come through, and beat all of them, or else they might lack any top-10 or even top-15 wins going into the SEC championship…

Why would Florida not go undefeated with such an easy schedule? No BCS conference team has gone undefeated since Texas, 4 seasons ago…

However, if it’s like last year with everyone having 1 lost, Florida will probably get the benefit of the doubt again and go to the national championship, the exception being if that one loss is in the SEC championship.
