for those of you that went to college honors day, what exactly is scheduled for the event? Also, were there alot of people because the first 3 days are filled.

was that thing today?? I saw TONS of people on bruinwalk today wearing little sticker badges and with folders.

if so, then one of the things you get to do is sample food at one of the dining halls (i saw people with badges in covel)

yes... and form long lines of ppl which makes the people who LIVE there annoyed cuz they have to follow people who don't know what they're doing.
i'm not hating or anything. that was totally me last year (honors day made me decide to come here) :)
...just someone remind me NOT to eat in de neve from 11-2 any day this week?

Ahh yes...I just got back from that! Quite a fun event :) But anyway, the schedule is exactly as it was on the website:

Yes, there were a lot of people! For lunch we ate in the dining halls...they split us up by last name. After lunch, it's kind of a "free option" thing...you can do a campus tour, or go see financial aid, and maybe go on a housing tour...your choice, and you can even do all of them. I did everything but the campus tour (I've been on one before)...my parents and I just walked around the campus, and I bought a nice UCLA jacket from Ackerman Center (they give you a discount, hehe).

Oh, and you also have the option of attending some lectures.

Hope that helps! Have fun :)

Ooh, I remember this last year :] Exciting stuff. Congratulations all!

how does lunch in the dining halls work? that way, i won't seem like a fool on friday or annoy other students

^ don't worry about it too much. After you're split up into groups (because I'm sure current students don't want a bajillion kids going into ONE dining hall), they take you to your dining hall. Then you get a ticket to go in...and just eat. Simple :)

Here's your chance to buy UCLA gear, and realize how much you get ripped off at the UCLA store.

They do have this 50% off clearance items at the UCLA store on Thursday.
