College Hoodie

at my school, USC, a disproportionately high number of people wear USC gear around everywhere...anything from hoodies, ties, beanies, workout shorts, warm ups, shirts, Crocs (yes...we have USC branded Crocs...)...

From William and Mary...almost everyone wears W&M hoodies. Most of the time.

everyone at duke wears duke gear. i wear duke gear 70% of the stuff... i.e., i seriously have on a duke hoodie, duke sweatpants, a duke t-shirt underneath my sweatshirt, and a duke basketball hat on.

hahaa

At U-Dub wearing purple is not only commonplace, but encouraged.

I don't wear any of my college's stuff myself (grr... expensive. >.>)
but I do see alot of people who do.

I can second the "USC Gear" thing. It seems like everyone has at least a t-shirt or hoodie they wear with some regularity...

USC has always had lots of school sprit, but it really took off right around the time I got here (when we were winning all them football championships...)

But definitely at a much higher rate than all my friends who go to UC's, most of whom don't own a single piece of clothing with the school name on it...

At my school you see a lot of school stuff. Although you do see stuff from some nearby schools as well (but majority is our own).

Do a lot of people wear sweats and other comfy stuff all the time or do they dress normal (jeans, sweater-ish outfits)??

Both. Here, lots of people dress in the sweatpants-tshirt type outfit, lots dress in jeans/tshirt/sweater type stuff, and, because it's Princeton, lots lso dress very preppy.

Really, though, no one cares how you dress. Whatever you find comfortable/nice looking.

The girls dress of college hoodie/pajama bottoms/flipflops is overdone. Comfortable? I guess. But please.

For nerdy, anti-school-sprit fun try wearing a nearby and/or competing school's clothes. I wear my Drexel Comp Sci shirt a lot at Temple. fun.

If only I actually had $50 to drop on an NYU sweater.
