<p>My college interview is in about eight hours, and I didn't know that I needed a cover letter for my resume! They told me to bring a resume, but I thought that a cover letter was only needed if I had mailed in a resume with my application. Since I am meeting directly with the alumni interviewing me, do I need a cover letter? I figured that most cover letters (ie for the application) would include simply why you're applying to the college, what you want to major in etc. But isn't this what I will be talking about in the interview? And either way I'm not 100% sure what I want to major in, so I wanted to talk about it with the guy.</p>
<p>Basically should I make a cover letter or not? What did you do? If you think I need a cover letter what do I include? </p>
<p>Also, I was going to take it with me in a manila folder, is that fine?</p>
