Hey everyone. I just had the worst college interview ever. It wasn't just the ordinary awkward type interview - the interviewer was downright offensive not only to me, but also made some very racist remarks throughout the interview. It was an unannounced interview, she suddenly contacted me and asked me different questions. What should I do? Should I contact someone at the university to talk about it, or would it affect my admissions? And who would that be? I have no idea what this person will write about me, and frankly, I was left completely numbed by the things she said during the interview, so it went horribly.

Yes, I think that’s the kind of experience that you would want to review with the admissions office sooner rather than later. If you have a helpful, involved college counselor at your high school, you can ask that person to help you make the contact with the admissions office.
My general advice on slightly bad interviews would be to share feedback after decisions are released, but racist remarks make this a different issue.

Okay, thank you so much for your input. I have heard different things from different people, but as of right now I think I will email admissions office concerning this. Do you think I should say specifically who the interviewer was, say what they said, or only email them with my name and say that the interviewer made me uncomfortable due to her comments?
