<p>im going to my georgetown interview tomorrow morning (right after my chem SAT), and i was wondering if any of you had any tips as to what paperwork to bring (if any) and stuff like that. help would be appreciated! thank youu.</p>

<p>I heard from a peer the georgetown interview is rough.</p>
<p>when i say rough, i mean the guy drilled her on current events, the election, the economoy, etc. </p>
<p>i mean it's not hard to talk about that, but its probably not what you're expecting.</p>
<p>A real key to a successful interview is to have some questions ready that show you've gone thru the viewbook, website, etc. and given serious consideration to what it would be like to be a student at the school. I guarantee you that at some point the interviewer is going to ask you if you have any questions. If you ask questions that are easily answered by materials you should have already gone over it comes across as if you're not that serious about the school; if THESE are your questions why didn't you spend a few minutes and get the answers earlier? By contrast questions that show you've spent some time really thinking it over will indicate your interest (fictitious example -- "I'm interested in the Presidents Scholars upper-division program and am wondering if I'd still be able to participate if I spend a semester overseas thru the Overseas Exploration program?")</p>
