I’m new to all this so first off I’d like to say Hello, I hope everyone is having a wonderful night/ day lol. So my situation is complicated. I’m a sophomore in a college here in New York. So there is this program in this college that has caught my eye since day one, and unfortunately it’s competitive to get into. So since its competitive, the dean of this program told me it’s better off to do the pre reqs in the same college because you will get accepted faster then others. So I listened to her (unfortunately). So first semester I did horrible because I took a class that I think is easy but the professor complicated things, after that semester ended I was in complete depression mood for a while and that caused some medical problems, then comes another semester which was the best semester of my life, got flying colors :-). Then comes the semester of hell lol which was this semester I did horrible due to family issues that occurred during finals week… But thats not an excuse to do bad but the point is; This semester I retook the class I failed the first semester and I worked my axe off like even got a tutor everything to pass and even my tutor was in shock at how the proffesor tests us, I mean it’s an ‘intro’ class how hard can it be? I understood everything, then here I am waiting for my final grades to come & unfrotunetly got a D, same grade as last time. I texted a bunch of my classmates because we all were struggling which his tests and they also had D’s. So now that I have no chance to getting accepted to this program I do not know what to do, i also needed this class to get into the program & my GPA went downhill. What should I do? I just need advice…
