College-level courses taken in high school

Hello,

I've taken an accelerated mathematics course for high school students at a local university which has enough credits for a full one semester course. I think my counselor has written this somewhere in his reports uploaded on the Common Application, but is it necessary to note this information in the Common Application, and are there any consequences if I don't? I got a B in the course (isn't that bad I guess) and definitely should help my application but the app says that I need the institution to send an official transcript. Is it absolutely necessary to send the official transcripts and if so, where to? The individual schools I'm applying to?

Thanks,
Charismaztex

List this in the Education - Colleges and Universities section of the common app. For the schools that want an official transcript for the course, you should mail it to the admissions office of the school you are applying to. If you don’t do this, the schools won’t consider it when making admissions decisions. You’ll definitely need to send an official transcript eventually to the school you end up attending.
