<p>Our library here at UT is open until Midnight, but 'The Commons' is open 24/7.</p>
<p>Fondren Library at Rice is open 24 hours except for Friday 10pm - Sat 9am and Saturday 10pm - Sunday Noon.</p>
<p>CMU = 24/7 and I'd think the same goes for most universities or at least ones with good tech programs. CS people have to work a lot.</p>
<p>at USC, Leavey Library, the main study library is open 24/6. it's only closed between 12:00AM-8:00AM Sunday, which seems reasonable to me. i'm almost certain that changes to 24/7 as finals approach.</p>
<p>Ours is open from 7 am until 1am on weekdays, but I believe that the lobbies are open 24/7 (so you can study, just not check out books). I actually don't use the library much to study in, though, as I've found other places closer to my dorm.</p>
<p>Honestly, I think a lot of colleges have good hours. Are there any colleges you want to know about in particular? (Check online, too, as some colleges have their library hours posted there)</p>
<p>I guess I don't understand why you need a 24/7 library...most current journals are online and accessible to students off-campus and there are certainly other places to study...even my med school library closes at 9 on fridays, and 5pm on saturdays...</p>
<p>Most schools have at least a 24/5 library - i.e. open 24 hours sunday through thursday - sometimes extending during finals ect.</p>
<p>you'll find that generally as long as a library is open till midnight you'll be fine. there is a rare occurance that you'll actually need to be there later than midnight if you keep up with your work.</p>
<p>Whitman College in Washington has a library which is open 24x7 when classes are in session. My daughter uses it as a safe place to study all hours of the day. It was an important reason she went to Whitman. (It is a gorgeous buiilding too.)</p>
<p>The library at Reed reg hours are 8am to 2:30 am M-Thurs close at 12 pm Friday & Sat and open again 10 am Sunday to 2:30 am
during finals they are open 24/7
but please go back to your dorm occasionally to sleep and shower- or * somebodys* dorm
Seniors have thesis desks in library- D had an office in her dept which of course was open 24/7, and when she stayed late, she could always get a CSO ( community safety officer) to escort her back to her dorm if she wanted.</p>
<p>But you can also access a great deal away from the library, even from off campus- so even if you need a physical library to study in ( some do) most campus library hours should suit.</p>
<p>Powell Library at UCLA is open 24/7 once the quarter is fully underway.</p>
