Had a couple questions about life at USC! Thanks

Hows the social life if you are a sophomore transfer? Is it hard to transition and find friends?

What if I decide to rush as a sophomore? Is it hard, do any of the sororities not like to give bids to sophomores?

What do people wear to class normally? What do sorority girls wear to class and around campus? (where im from all the sororities wear the same things)

4.Where do sophomores typically live their sophomore year of school?

Parking-If I bring a car is it hard to find parking around campus?

What do the sororities look for in their girls? I have a friend who goes and she said a lot of the sororities will give you a bid, if youre pretty, thin, and flash all your designer goods during rush? Is this true?

USC is a pretty big school so it’s not hard to jump in and find people with common interests if you figure out where they socialize. There also seems to be a fair amount of transfers so you’re not alone by any means.

2 & 6. I have no idea.

I don’t know anything about sororities, but girls in general wear all sorts of things to class. You could walk into a general ed class and find one girl in sweatpants with a messy bun, one in a flowy sundress and ballerina flats, one in short shorts and designer shades, one in mom jeans and a cardigan, and another in a leather jacket and combat boots. Just go in wearing what you like.

Most sophomores will have already moved out of the dorms and into apartments directly around campus. Some are owned by the university, some not. Some people move into houses with friends too, but I tend to prefer apartments because they’re usually within better walking distance.

You can get a parking permit if you’re a student with a car, or if you live in an apartment building with a parking deck.
