Hi guys, I'm a Junior in High School and will start applying to colleges in the fall. I just received my ACT in the mail: a 34 overall (35 in English, 34 in Math, 33 in Reading, and 32 in Science) and am planning to take the test again in June to hopefully get a 35/36. Going into Senior Year, I will have a 4.50 GPA - a 3.83 unweighted. My Senior year schedule is pretty rigorous, so if all goes well by the time Regular Applications get sent out I will have a 4.53 GPA. I also have a good amount of Ec's - Exec board for a club, numerous awards, Research, sports, etc. My overall goal is to get through Medical School and become a physician, so I have been on the search for decent Direct Med programs. Could you help me by giving me some review over direct med schools I could shoot for? Also, any 4-year Undergrad colleges I could ED/EA/RD for? Are ivy's an option as well? And those schools that aren't ivy's but have prestige, such as Northwestern, Uchicago, WashU, Hopkins - do these schools kill one's GPA so they can't get into med school? Please let me know what you think about all of this, thanks in advance!
