Sorry this is so long and if you actually respond to this, thanks so much!

Acceptance to ND seems probable. You would probably need to show more leadership in both your ECs and your community service work to get into Yale or Stanford. You still have a shot as a Hispanic first generation college student, but it may depend on your family’s income: Your EFC needs to be zero for Yale to accept you during the Match Round.

After doing QB myself and not getting matched and knowing students that did, I just want to stress how much they emphasize OVERCOMING HARDSHIP. You will make to the finalist round for sure, but colleges look to match the students that have overcome a lot and have a fantastic story, compared to students that are well rounded. They are really looking for students that are at a disadvantage because of their background and might not be noticed by colleges if not for QB. You are a very successful student, but to have the best outcomes in the match process, you really have to demonstrate hardship and how maybe you have not been able to reach your full potential because of it. Good luck and feel free to PM me if you have any specific questions. I love helping!

“Your EFC needs to be zero for Yale to accept you during the Match Round.”

Lorem, Do all of the Partner Colleges require a zero EFC to be matched? If not, is there a list somewhere? I have looked, but I have not been able to find anything. My DD is a Junior, and I think she will be applying in the Fall. I am estimating our EFC to be about $2000. Thanks

I think Yale is the only one. Penn only matches students with an EFC under $500.
