College Math

Hey guys...

So I'll be done with AP Calc BC freshman year, and I want to know what classes I should take at the college. In eighth right now I'm in Honors Chem And Honors pre-calc.

P.S. Fullerton College is right across the street from my high school, so I have easy access to college courses.

THANKS:)

Holy jeez, you’ll be done with AP calc BC your freshman year of high school? Thats awesome!
I guess it all depends on what you get on the AP test. I go to a school on quarters so we have calc 1-4. at colleges on semesters they will probably only have 1-3. At my school you can only test out of calc 1 and 2 but even if you get a 5 you still have to take calc 3. Here that is when you learn about series and other fun things like that. Depending on their rules and course numbers you would probably end up in calc 3 (maybe 2 if they are on semesters). I think colleges find it very important that they are the ones to teach you about sequences, series, taylor expansions etc. Colleges are picky about math. I’m sure they will set you up with an advisor and they will let you know what classes you should take, but it would probably start in something like calc 3, the calc 4, maybe differential equations after that, depending on what you want to do.

Good Luck!
