<p>Hi. I recently applied to Harpur EA, but unfortunately I was deferred. Today I received an email from Binghamton about their College of Community and Public Affairs. I have never heard of this particular school before. I checked out the stats online and it seems pretty small. Does anyone know any information about this school? Thanks.</p>

<p>No, I did nothing to suggest an interest in such a major. In fact, my essay and short answer question was solely about business.</p>
<p>I am thinking it might be one of those generic emails they send to entice students to apply for the school.</p>
