<p>Recently a friend and I had a discussion about some college students doing porn. Initially, I thought that I would only have disgust for whoever would do such a thing. But for some reason, my feeling of disgust is slowly fading. I think to myself, "do I really have the right to judge these people?"... I don't know... What do you guys think?</p>

<p>Porn is everywhere. To some people it is disgusting and wrong. To others, it's the best thing in the world. So take your pick. You should always be careful about judging people. I used to be that way but now I recognize the fact that people will be people and everyone will be affected by the consequences of whatever choices they make, good or bad. Good: If you study well for a test, you will perform well. Bad: A porn actor didn't use protection. Contracted STD.</p>

<p>What makes it slutty? It's not like everyone who views the film gets a shot with the people involved. Their just making a buck off other people's lack of sexual interaction.</p>
<p>I just think it is. Some things should be kept private, and that's just one of them.</p>
<p>Some people like the idea of other people watching them. So not everyone's doing it for the money -- a lot of them are doing it because they get a kick out of anonymous online-types getting off on them having sex.</p>
<p>But, honestly, I can't see how someone with a bright future ahead of them would be okay with posting themselves having sex on the internet (if their face is visible). Okay, so you're 18 and carefree right now, but in a couple of years you're going to be 45 and might have a family and a career. Then someone finds out you made a sex video, sees it and you're instantly effed (probably) because of something you did when you're a teenager... and there's no way you're running for office too.</p>

<p>My mistake...I was looking at it as if students were actually making the porn videos themsevles, not simply watching videos. I was looking at it from the porn actor's point of view.</p>

<p>Personally, i wouldn't care. If she/he is a good person, that part of their life, whether it was something done in the past or something they were still doing wouldn't matter to me. i would want them to be extra careful of STDs though, but other than that i wouldn't view the porn star as being any different than anyone else.</p>
