<p>Instead of the typical acceptance thread that is full of people bragging about all their college acceptances, this thread is dedicated to those who came up just short. Whether it be MIT, the Ivies, or even a state school, post your stats (SAT, GPA, rank, etc.) and the school or schools you were denied admittance to. Don't be ashamed to post, everyone here was rejected. You are also free to express your emotions, whether it be sadness, regret, or downright disgust. I myself haven't gotten any results back yet, but a rejection letter from NYU wouldn't be a shocker. I was rejected from a couple high schools though way back in 8th grade.</p>

<p>i guess i COULD be venting here, or celebrating, But Chicago pushed backed early action notification another week.</p>

<p>I got deferred from Yale. 61% of applicants got deferred.</p>

<p>I got deferred from MIT. (May be because of that) I am not keen on going there any more, I will be watching the RD round without much interest. I can feel in my bones that I will not be comfortable in the MIT's cut-throat competitive environment.<br>
I already received acceptances from two other places...</p>
