<p>I have a question for college requirements of high school courses. Many colleges require 2 years of foreign language, is it o.k. if i just took the AP test (say, AP spanish) of a foreign language instead of wasting 2 years in high school?</p>
<p>This is a weird one. The AP test will demonstrate your knowledge but if this was your first language, colleges will see you as someone who takes the easy way out. Now if you are applying to your state uni. they would not care. Any prestigious non-state would.</p>
