<p>I have been selected to represent my school as a nominee for a scholarship. I need to turn in a complete resume. They informed me that I should have one for other college purposes. My question is in what format should it be? What should I include? Things that I should avoid? Just anything would be helpful as I have no idea how to lay out my information. Thank you!</p>
<p>My school wanted the same thing, but they gave us a format sheet. It was something like (with your name, address, phone, email at top):
EDUCATION
-High school and middle school, with years of attendance
-Any extra classes you've taken, eg summer courses and religious ed, etc
EXTRACURRICULARS
-clubs and similar
ACHIEVEMENTS
-awards, honors, acceptances, any exceptionally high test scores
INTERESTS
-try for 3 academic ones and one or two "fun", eg: Statistics, Number Theory, International Relations, Skiing, Cooking
REFERENCES
-furished upon request</p>
