College Rooming: Tips to Maximize Space??

<p>My first year living off campus and my room is not only really small but shared with another person. What are some tips to maximize storage space, especially since there is not closet in my room? Some ideas I have are:</p>

<ul>
<li>Bed risers!</li>
<li>Using the space below the bed for small drawers for clothes</li>
<li>Maybe a shelf I can buy that attaches to a wall?</li>
</ul>

<p>What are some other tips?</p>

<p>Maybe instead of bed risers, you could get a loft? I don’t personally go to Berkeley but I know friends who use lofts and they love them.</p>

<p>@Aceuniverse, the idea of loft beds is awesome! :smiley: I found a nice $170 loft bed from Ikea, looks pretty good</p>
