I’ll be attending UT Austin in the fall and living in Moore-Hill. That part isn’t super important. But basically, I want to save space by maybe perhaps lofting my bed, but my desk is built into the wall, so that’s not an option, and I don’t need more storage. What else can you put under a lofted bed? Anything super useful? I’m thinking I might put my keyboard under there but who knows
Some things that can easily go under a lofted bed…
Mini fridge and/or microwave
Shoe rack (I know you said you don’t need more storage, but a small shoe rack can go a long way toward keeping your room tidy)
Extra seating (if you’re allowed to loft your bed high enough, you can get a couple chairs or a tiny sofa underneath)
Leaving it empty to start is also a completely fine option! You might want to fit something else in your room later in the year and be grateful for the free space.
A mini fridge, microwave, printer, laundry basket, couch/chairs, shoe rack, water bottle case, boxes of snacks (like the ones you get from Costco), musical instruments (like your keyboard), and a TV. I’d say definitely put extra seating if you can because its tough to find places to sit when theres multiple friends over!
Thank yall so much @catbird1 and @mjmansuria15 !! These suggestions were super helpful!!
