what are his chances of getting into good business/Marketing schools in New York ?

For a first approximation, check any school’s Common Data Set section C to see how his numbers compare to those of the last entering class.

vonlost Thansk you very much for the CDS information ,it was very useful than the other tools I used.

@devmom
Are you in NY? Some initial schools for you to research: All CUNY schools, Ithaca College, Manhattan College, Fordham, and Union College. Niche, Parchment and cappex are place where you can see how your son compares/learn more.

@devmom: You are looking for “business schools” in New York state (as there are no “marketing schools” = marketing is a major within business schools).

Union College, recommended above, does not have a business school.

Syracuse University is a possibility, but it is expensive. SUNY-Geneseo offers business majors.

Syracuse University, Fordham University, University at Albany–SUNY, Binghamton Univ–SUNY, SUNY–Oneonta, Hofstra Univ., Clarkson University, & St. John’s University = are all in New York state. University at Buffalo–SUNY.

Check out the CUNY colleges. CUNY–Baruch College in New York City , for example, only charges $8,000 per year tuition, but room & board will add almost $16,000 to the total cost of attendance (COA). CUNY–York College, CUNY–Medger Evers College, CUNY–CUNY–Lehman College, CUNY–College of Staten Island, CUNY–Brooklyn College.

College at Brockport–SUNY.

Marist college in Poughkeepsie. Manhattanville College in Purchase.

Hartwick College in Oneonta.

Stats look a little low for Fordham & Syracuse? Definitely have others as backup.
