NYC area Unis/Colleges?

Well my time for applying has come and gone, but this is more of a what if thread for me. I'm just curious to what some of my match schools could be in the NYC area (including Staten Island and suburbs). So if you could please give me some possible schools that would be great. Here are my stats:

GPA:3.87 unweighted
ACT:29
Rank:5/85
ECs:Loads
Intended are of interest: Business (finance and accounting)

I'm being very generic on giving stats since this is only a "what if" thread.

Thanks in advance! I only wish I would've researched more in depth earlier in the school year.

there are a lot of schools in NYC, most notably NYU, columbia, CUNY, fordham, etc. Given your stats, I would say you have a good shot at all these schools. columbia not so sure though.

but NYU is very good in business (Stern I think).

Fordham and NYU (if you can raise ACT by a couple of points). Baruch would be a safety if you don't need housing.

My D has the same unweighted GPA as you, ACT of 30 and is top 5%. She has leadership ec's and was just accepted early action into Fordham, so you are right there with her stats. Hope this helps.

Fordham and some of the CUNY colleges -- Baruch, Lehman, Hunter, and City College especially, Queens College and Brooklyn College secondarily. NYU would be a bit of a reachy-match and I don't know why you'd want to come to Columbia for business undergrad...there's also St. John's University (two campuses: Queens and Staten Island), Yeshiva University in upper Manhattan, Hofstra University out in Hempstead (Long Island), Pace University, and Marymount Manhattan College. I think all of those would be matches for you.

Fordham and NYU come to mind immediately. Columbia does not offer undergraduate business. You might also take a look at Fairfield University, a catholic college that offers business. CUNY Baruch used to be very good for business, but I don't know how it is today.
