College suggestions for a noob?

I'm a junior starting my college search and could use some help, suggestions :)

Prospective major: Economics and maybe International Relations as either pre-law or pre-business (finance)

Dream school: UChicago

Stats:
Female, Asian, International
Attending international school that sends many to top schools excluding HYPSM
Current junior

NO Financial Aid will be requested (income: 400K+)

GPA: 3.86, upward trend from disaster freshman year (3.6)
By the way my school has a weird deflating system in which 96 = 4, 95 = 3.6, etc.)
Do colleges recalculate GPA??.....My school is out to get me...:(

SAT 1: 2340 (750 CR, 790 M, 800 W) first time, got the scores yesterday, won't retake!

SAT 2: 800 Math IIC, 790 World History, 780 Chemistry

AP: taking Bio and Chem this May, have self-taken Macro and Micro Econ (both 5s), and will take Calc BC and USH next year.

ECs:

Math Team (9, 10, 11, 12)

Thank you!

Good scores and decent ECs and you are NOT applying for FA.
I think you have decent chances at UChicago.

Good luck to you.

Lots of colleges recalculate the GPA so the playing field is leveled. Some take out electives and make it so only core classes are counted in the GPA.

Oh that’s good hehe…

Any other schools I should look at? :)

Wellesley.

Why not some Ivies HYPS and Georgetown(for IR)… UPenn…(for Business), its a crap shoot anyway.
