College suggestions (Psychology and then PT)

<p>I'm currently a sophomore at a community college, and I will transfer next year (Jan.). I have a 3.42 GPA right now, but I know I can at least bring it up to 3.5. </p>

<p>Students who have a 3.5 GPA, what schools did you guys apply?? I have a hard time to choose where I should apply. I have University of Maryland, College Park, UMBC, University of Pittsburgh, and Penn State in mind....</p>

<p>Psychology will be my major when I transfer, and I'm going for physical therapy after that.
Any recommendation??? Schools on East Coast would be ideal, but on the West are fine too. Which schools can be put on the 'safe list' ? </p>

<p>I think Towson is supposed to be good in the health sciences. It would be less selective than the ones you list.</p>

<p>My mom was a psych major and then did PT! Same as you! Not sure exactly which schools would be good for that, sorry…but it’s a good combo, you’re on the right track, and I do know quite a few Penn State psych majors, so I’m guessing that’s a good bet. Good luck with everything!!</p>
