Transfer Suggestions? Psychology Major

<p>Finished my first semester at a Pennsylvania LAC school and it's definitely not for me. </p>

<p>I am looking for an urban school with great academics, esp. in psychology. </p>

<p>Major: Psychology
College GPA: 3.85
HS GPA: 3.7
ACT: 29</p>

<p>EC'S:
-Founder of non-profit youth theatre company, has raised over $500
-10+ years with children's theatre ensemble, now teacher's assistant there
-editor of school literary mag, 2 years
-Intensive Shakespeare Training
-Young Writers Institute at Pitt, 2 years
-Playwrighting apprenticeship w/ reknowned theater
-NHS, 2 years
-High school musical, 3 years
-Currently working at college's costume shop, 8 hrs/wk
-Summer job 30 hrs/week</p>

<p>Obvious choice is Pitt. If you want to come to Philly (which has a fantastic theater community), look at Temple. Penn also has a great program, but I don’t know that your stats are competitive.</p>

<p>^ Is a 3.85 college GPA not competitive enough for Penn?</p>

<p>Don’t need to stay in PA. Open to anywhere.</p>

<p>Depending on what coast you want to be on, I’d say NYU, BU, Columbia (if you can get in), Penn, UCLA, Emory, and Wash-U St. Louis.</p>
