<p>When do colleges start updating their supplements? I want to get my essays done as soon as possible. Do you think maybe July? I am interested in places like Williams, Georgetown, and Cornell.</p>

<p>I think the Common App becomes available for the 2010-2011 year on July 1st or around there. That’s how it was last year, anyways. Also, check their websites. A lot of colleges place their essay prompts on their website. And I don’t think Georgetown uses the Common App, so you could probably directly download their app. Not sure about Williams or Cornell though.</p>
