I’m trying to find out about the vibe of every college, so I asked a few of my friends who are already in college about their thoughts on their college. Their responses are below. Feel free to add more information about these colleges/other colleges. Also, let me know if this is helpful and I’ll add more info!

UC Davis:

  1. very large with trees everywhere
  2. professors are very approachable and their office hours are always available if help is needed

  11. do what you like to do and don’t feel pressured to pursue a certain major- explore all options
  12. largest UC acreage wise, squirrels are very friendly, known as the cow school, but our mascot is actually a horse

Boston College:

  1. Green, clean, renovated
  2. Some professors feel elite and others are really down to earth

  11. Make a lot of friends, it helps
  12. We have a top hockey team, 40% of freshman like 2mi from main campus, Mac and cheese at the Rat is the best

Cornell:

  1. Seasonal, beautiful, big
  2. Great, everyone’s nice and willing to help each other

  12. There is a lot of walking, the food is actually pretty good, and it gets really cold
